About SORELLE

SORELLE, an Australian musician based in Reykjavík, Iceland, is poised on a razor's edge between rapture and despair. 

Her debut album ‘Ring Road’ is an effortless fusion of Shoegaze and Hyperpop which evokes nostalgia whilst remaining unchained to the past. The title track of the album, ‘Ring Road’, is the first to hit listeners’ ears in July 2023, a 22 year dream in the making.

 A juxtaposition of raw power and soft melodies, her soaring vocals float delicately over screaming guitars and relentless drums rip through ethereal soundscapes. At times it seems as if SORELLE is drowning in a sea of noise, yet she remains the glue that binds these conflicting elements together.

The lyrics weave themselves through banal and surreal landscapes, idly mulling over everyday emotions one minute and the next contemplating the nature of reality while frying chicken wings.

2023 sees SORELLE make her creative vision a reality.

Her debut album ‘Ring Road’ will be released later this year.
